Peer Review Process
 

1. Initial Screening

All the manuscripts sent to IJRDO - Journal of Food and Nutrition are initially reviewed by the editorial team. This is taken to make sure that the paper is pertinent to the journal and covers minimal quality and formatting requirements.

2. Reviewer Assignment

Appropriate manuscripts are then sent to experts in the subject to review. Our peer-review is blind and thus the reviewer is free to evaluate the work without any bias.

3. Evaluation Criteria

The manuscript is evaluated by reviewers on the basis of:

Originality and significance of the study
Clarity and structure of the content
Methodology and accuracy of findings
Relevance to food and nutrition research

Feedback & Revision

4. Reviewer Feedback

Detailed comments and suggestions are given to authors. This critique is supposed to enhance the overall quality, clarity, and the impact of the manuscript.

 

5. Revision Process

Writers have to revise their paper under the recommendations of critics and hand in the edited paper within the set deadline.

6. Editorial Decision

The editorial team makes the final judgment after going over the revised copy:

Acceptance
Minor or major revision
Rejection

Ethics & Publication

7. Ethical Standards

The process is carried out confidentially. Ethical practices are supposed to be practiced by all participants, and this should be fair and respectful.

 

8. Publication Outcome

Upon acceptance, the manuscript is published in the next issue of the journal.
